DawnShft
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 5, 2026
DawnShft is a trading-desk software service for structured market analysis, journaling, trade planning, and account management. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, account credentials, and profile/onboarding preferences.
- Trading workspace data: journal entries, trade plans, risk settings, account/equity information, and other information you choose to save in DawnShft.
- Billing information: subscription and billing status associated with your DawnShft account. Payment details are handled by our payment provider, Paddle, rather than stored directly by DawnShft.
- Technical information: information needed to operate authentication, sessions, security, and the application.
- Chart Context images: if you choose to use Chart Context, your JPG or PNG chart image is sent for analysis and is not stored by DawnShft. The resulting text and strategy-defined location reading, but never the image itself, is saved to your workspace so it is available across your devices until you update or delete that Chart Context.
- Location Presence watches: if you arm a strategy-defined mapped location, DawnShft stores that selected market location so it can show its current status while your Desk is open. Chart Context remains review/alignment evidence and does not create or arm Location Presence watches. Location Presence does not provide background or tick-price alerts.
- MT5 Desk integration: when you connect an MT5 terminal, DawnShft receives its read-only account snapshot and the current bid/ask references for supported Desk markets. It stores the latest broker references for Market Pulse pricing. Where historical evidence is enabled, it also receives and stores broker price history and records of corrections to that history to support Structure and Chart Reflection. It never receives a broker password or sends trading instructions.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure DawnShft, keep your workspace synchronized across devices, process subscriptions, provide customer support, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Trading and market data
DawnShft may display market quotes and analysis generated from external market-data sources. Market data is used to provide the service and is not used to make investment decisions on your behalf. Your journal and trading-plan information remains associated with your DawnShft account.
4. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed through Paddle, our payment service provider and Merchant of Record. Paddle may collect and process payment, billing, tax, and transaction information under its own privacy and payment terms.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate DawnShft, including the AI analysis provider when you voluntarily submit a Chart Context image, process payments, provide infrastructure, secure the service, or comply with law.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet legal, security, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Chart Context images are not stored by DawnShft and are discarded immediately after analysis. You can request account closure and deletion through DawnShft. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or by legitimate financial/accounting obligations.
7. Your choices
You may access and update information in your DawnShft account, cancel your subscription, or request deletion of your account. If you have a privacy question or request that cannot be handled in the application, contact DawnShft through the support contact provided on the website or in your account.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when DawnShft or its data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
